August 2, 2024 — The acclaimed fishing and adventure show “Uncharted Waters with Peter Miller” has earned an impressive 15 Telly Awards in its seventh season. The honors include gold awards in editing and directing, and silver awards in branded content, voiceover and narrative, aerial videography, and sound. Additionally, two of the accolades were “People’s Telly” Awards, underscoring the show’s innovative video work and top-tier industry status.
The Telly Awards celebrate excellence in video and television across all screens, judged by leaders from various video platforms, television networks, and production companies. This year saw a record-breaking nearly 13,000 entries worldwide. Peter Miller’s show joins prestigious winners such as Adobe, Calvin Klein, ESPN, NASA, and the NBA’s LA Clippers.

“Uncharted Waters with Peter Miller” is broadcast on Discovery and World Fishing Network, and streams on 17 services, including Discovery GO, Waypoint TV, Prime Video, and Apple TV. The award-winning episodes feature diverse content, from Super Bowl Champion Chris Jones catching his first sailfish and tuna to Miller celebrating his first wedding anniversary in Panama while fishing for rooster fish.

In seven seasons, “Uncharted Waters with Peter Miller” has captivated audiences by immersing them in the culture, cuisine, and local flair of international fishing destinations. The show goes beyond traditional fishing content to tell the full story leading up to the trophy catch. Miller previously won seven Telly Awards in 2016 for his show “Bass 2 Billfish” on NBC Sports.
