Tripadvisor, the world’s largest travel guidance platform, has revealed the winners of its 2024 Travelers‘ Choice® Best of the Best Restaurants Awards. Based on over 1 billion traveler reviews, the awards spotlight the top-ranked restaurants across multiple categories in the US and globally.
In a historic win, Miami Beach’s That’s Amore – Italian Restaurant topped both the Casual Dining and Hidden Gems categories in the US. Globally, Peru’s Organika was named the best for casual dining, while Ponchos Food & Wines secured the top spot for hidden gems.

These accolades come as US travelers increasingly seek culinary experiences during their trips, as highlighted by Tripadvisor’s latest Seasonal Travel Index. Restaurants like these, with an average 4.8-star rating from over 18,000 reviews, offer a genuine taste of local culture and warm hospitality.
Tripadvisor also introduced new categories this year, including Pet-Friendly Dining, in partnership with CESAR® Canine Cuisine, and Outdoor Dining, recognizing top restaurants that pair exceptional meals with stunning outdoor settings.
Pomelo Bistro Bar in Gdansk, Poland, was named the best pet-friendly restaurant globally, while Thes Greek Creative Cuisine in Athens, Greece, topped the outdoor dining category.
For upscale dining, Restaurant Pic in Valence, France, claimed the No. 1 spot in Fine Dining worldwide, with Daniel in New York leading in the US. Alameda Suiça in Monte Verde, Brazil, was named the best for Date Night, with Beach Walk at Henderson Park Inn in Destin, Florida, taking the US title.
