St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has officially opened The St. Regis on the Bund, Shanghai, marking the brand’s 60th global property and second in the city.
Located in one of Shanghai’s most historic districts, the new luxury hotel offers sweeping views of the Huangpu River and Pudong skyline, combining timeless elegance with the city’s cultural heritage.

Designed by Norman Foster and Heatherwick Studio, the hotel’s architecture reflects Art Deco influences and local culture, featuring 192 guest rooms, 13 suites, and 72 original artworks. Guests can enjoy the signature St. Regis Butler Service, refined dining experiences at Celestial Court and The St. Regis Brasserie, and relax at the St. Regis Spa. The hotel also boasts nearly 1,100 square meters of event space, ideal for both intimate and large-scale gatherings.
Situated along the historic Bund and within proximity to key landmarks like Yu Garden and the Oriental Pearl Tower, The St. Regis on the Bund is set to become a key player in Shanghai’s luxury hospitality scene.
