The Slovenian Tourist Board has unveiled an ambitious new promotional campaign, “Slovenia. It’s All in Our Nature,” which plays on the dual meaning of ‘nature’ to highlight both the scenic beauty and the resilient character of Slovenia. This campaign intertwines the country’s stunning landscapes with its top athletes, presenting Slovenia as a premier destination for travel, sports, healthy living, and sustainability.

Slovenia, renowned as one of the greenest countries globally and Europe’s “green playground,” offers diverse terrains for outdoor activities, including mountains, forests, rivers, and seas. This natural richness fosters a culture of outdoor recreation, celebrated nationally with a sports holiday on September 23. This environment also molds Slovenian athletes into paragons of cooperation and victory, further emphasized as they prepare to compete in the upcoming Olympic Games.

The “It’s All in Our Nature” campaign showcases ten iconic Slovenian locations, including Otočec and Dolenjska, Bled and the Alps, the Soča Valley, Ptuj, Piran and the Coast, Postojna Cave, and Ljubljana. These sites are brought to life through captivating visuals and videos that depict the country’s natural beauty and cultural wealth.

More than 20 of Slovenia’s elite athletes, such as cyclist Tadej Pogačar, climber Janja Garnbret, discus thrower Kristjan Čeh, judoka Andreja Leški, windsurfer Toni Vodišek, the women’s handball team, and the men’s volleyball team, feature prominently in the campaign.
