The San Francisco Peninsula Travel & Tourism Board is hosting the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay on August 5, celebrating California’s top restaurants.

The San Francisco Peninsula Travel & Tourism Board is thrilled to announce that it will host the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Ceremony at The Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay on Monday, August 5. The event will celebrate the annual selection of California restaurants, attracting accomplished chefs from across the state and global media.

The San Francisco Peninsula is renowned for its exceptional culinary offerings, featuring over 50 working farms and thriving bay harbors that provide fresh seafood year-round. The MICHELIN Guide, an independent publication, evaluates culinary destinations globally, utilizing anonymous inspectors who assess restaurants based on five criteria: quality of products, harmony of flavors, mastery of cooking techniques, the chef’s personality reflected in the cuisine, and consistency across visits and the entire menu.
