San Antonio’s holiday season is set to shine brighter than ever as it kicks off on November 29 with the Ford Holiday River Parade and the lighting of the iconic River Walk, Houston Street, and the H-E-B Christmas tree in Travis Park.
This year’s celebration will be even more spectacular with the return of Holidays on Houston Street, which runs from November 29 through January 2, 2025. The event will feature expanded activities, making it a must-see for locals and visitors alike.

Set along one of San Antonio’s most historic streets, the celebration reaches its peak from December 13-15, with a special weekend of events that includes a Holiday Market with 30+ vendors, an Experiential Lounge, and choreographed drone shows lighting up the sky to holiday music.
Other holiday highlights in the city include the return of the Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park, Art Everywhere Project installations, and family-friendly events at Legacy Park. Special activities like the San Antonio Coffee Festival’s “Hot Holidays on Houston Street” and the Paseo Market at Legacy Park add even more festive charm to the season.
