Royal Caribbean International’s Utopia of the Seas has made its inaugural appearance in Port Canaveral, Florida, ahead of its official debut on Friday, July 19. The event was marked by celebrations among over 2,000 crew members on the ship’s vibrant Caribbean pool deck, featuring attractions such as The Ultimate Abyss, the longest dry slide at sea, and the FlowRider surf simulator.
The upcoming debut will be highlighted by a special ceremony featuring GRAMMY-winning artist and songwriter Meghan Trainor, who has been named the godmother of Utopia. Trainor will perform live, marking the beginning of Utopia’s new schedule of 3-night weekend and 4-night weekday vacations.
