Nassau, Bahamas – Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® has announced the addition of Rosewood Exuma, a luxurious private island resort, to its Caribbean offerings. Located in the Exumas archipelago, the new resort is developed in collaboration with Yntegra Group, a Miami-based private investment firm, aiming to combine high-end luxury with adventurous experiences.
Set on East Sampson Cay, a 124-acre private island, Rosewood Exuma will feature 33 suites, each with stunning views of the island’s pink and white sands and turquoise waters. The suites, some of which are beachfront, will be complemented by six distinct dining options that highlight local ingredients, including produce from the resort’s organic garden. The resort will adhere to Rosewood’s A Sense of Place® philosophy, ensuring that every element reflects the destination’s unique character.
Guests will enjoy Rosewood’s signature Asaya® wellness concept, which includes a 20,000 square foot facility with treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy setup, an outdoor pool, and a fitness center. The island will also feature an outdoor sports center with tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, along with various watersports equipment.
A standout feature will be the fully serviced beach club, offering a grill restaurant, beach and pool bars, and a private dining room. Two marinas will cater to yachts up to 150 feet, inviting seafarers to experience the resort’s amenities. For guests staying overnight, the resort will have two additional pools, one specifically for families. Children can engage in activities at Rosewood Explorers, a program designed to spark curiosity and social responsibility.
Radha Arora, President of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the project: “It’s immensely exciting to be partnering with Yntegra Group to bring Rosewood’s signature blend of luxury and authenticity to the breathtaking Exumas. Rosewood Exuma will offer a next-generation luxury experience that honors the character of this pristine archipelago and invites guests on a journey of discovery and adventure.”
The resort, scheduled to open in 2028, will focus on sustainability, with only 25% of the island developed and the implementation of solar energy sources. This approach aims to minimize environmental impact and preserve the island’s natural beauty.
Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group, emphasized the partnership’s vision: “This partnership represents our shared vision to create exceptional experiences that inspire and delight our guests while being good community partners who are committed to Exuma.”
