Princess Cruises’ Sun Princess has been named the top mega cruise ship in the U.S. in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards. The award highlights the cruise line’s excellence in the mega ship category, for vessels over 4,000 passengers.
In addition, Princess Cruises ranked fifth in the Large Ship category, which covers ships accommodating 2,500 to 4,000 passengers. Both awards underscore Princess Cruises’ dedication to exceptional guest experiences.

The Sun Princess, a 4,300-guest vessel, is known for its innovative design, including The Dome, a Santorini-inspired glass structure, and the Sphere Atrium with expansive ocean views. The ship also features 30 dining venues, luxury retail, and world-class entertainment such as Spellbound by Magic Castle and acrobatic performances at The Dome.
