Princess Cruises has announced a second Total Solar Eclipse voyage, this time aboard the brand-new Sun Princess, offering guests a chance to witness the August 2026 celestial event while sailing the Mediterranean.
The itinerary has been reworked to position the ship off the coast of southern Spain on August 12, 2026, for a stunning view of the eclipse’s two minutes and 18 seconds of totality.

With several Mediterranean sailings ranging from 7 to 21 days, the Sun Princess will visit iconic ports like Barcelona, Gibraltar, Athens, and Rome. Eclipse-themed events on board will include expert lectures, stargazing, themed treats, and activities.
