Transitioning to One Key will occur from July 8 to September 16, 2024, marking a significant change in how you experience travel.
As a One Key member, you will be able to earn and use OneKeyCash™1 on eligible bookings across Expedia, Vrbo, and Hotels.com.

This expanded choice means more opportunities to benefit from your travel rewards. Members will enjoy instant discounts, faster tier progression, and enhanced travel perks, adding significant value to every trip.
One Key offers enhanced flexibility, enabling you to plan the trip you want and benefit from it across our three brands. For instance, you can earn OneKeyCash on a car hire with Expedia and use it to save on a holiday home with Vrbo. This program provides the freedom to customize your travel plans while maximizing rewards.

One Key is our most extensive loyalty program, offering rewards for all types of travel, including flights, car hire, hotels, and holiday rentals. Members gain access to exclusive prices and travel perks that improve as you progress through tiers. The program is free to join and easy to use, consolidating all your travel rewards in one place.
One Key offers a range of benefits across all tiers. One Key Blue members can earn and use OneKeyCash on eligible bookings, access free price tracking for flights, and save 10% or more with Member Prices on over 100,000 hotels. Silver members enjoy all Blue benefits, plus save 15% or more with Silver Member Prices on select hotels, earn 3% in OneKeyCash at VIP Access properties, receive extra perks at VIP Access hotels, and get priority traveler support.
Gold members receive all Silver benefits, plus save 20% or more with Gold Member Prices, earn 4% in OneKeyCash at VIP Access properties, get late checkout, early check-in, and room upgrades when available, and enjoy Price Drop Protection on selected flights booked via the Expedia app. Platinum members receive all Gold benefits, plus earn 6% in OneKeyCash at VIP Access properties and receive Platinum VIP Support.
Earning OneKeyCash on eligible bookings is straightforward as a member. You earn 2% in OneKeyCash per GBP spent on hotels, holiday rentals, activities, packages, and car hire, and 0.2% per GBP spent on flights. Earn more at VIP Access properties as you advance through tiers. Rewards are credited within three days for ‘Pay now’ bookings and up to 90 days for ‘Pay later’ and Vrbo bookings. OneKeyCash can be redeemed on ‘Pay now’ bookings and participating holiday rentals, and you can use rewards on eligible flights, covering the full cost including taxes and fees.
Your tier status will be based on your eligible travel activity. Current members of Expedia Rewards and Hotels.com Rewards will have their activities counted toward One Key tier status. Collect trip elements such as flights, hotel nights, car hire days, etc., to progress through tiers: Blue requires just signing up for free, Silver needs 5 trip elements within a year, Gold requires 15 trip elements, and Platinum needs 30 trip elements annually.
Existing members of Expedia and Hotels.com rewards programs will automatically transition to One Key. Ensure you’re subscribed to “Deals & Promotions” for updates on deals and One Key offers. Current rewards points will convert to OneKeyCash upon transition, and you’ll continue to earn rewards on eligible travel completed before joining One Key.
One Key integrates the best of Expedia Rewards and Hotels.com Rewards, offering faster tier progression and new earning opportunities. Existing rewards will convert to OneKeyCash, and you’ll continue to earn rewards on eligible travel completed before joining One Key.
Hotels.com stamps and reward nights will convert to OneKeyCash. One Key offers more flexibility, allowing you to use rewards as you earn them. Tier qualification thresholds are lower, making it easier to reach higher status levels.
One Key extends rewards to Vrbo holiday rentals, offering a comprehensive travel rewards system across our brands. Earn and use OneKeyCash on eligible bookings for a more integrated travel experience.
Accounts with matching email addresses across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo will merge into a single One Key account. If email addresses differ, accounts will remain separate.
