A woman has shared her bargain 24-hour boozy trip to Ibiza – and she claims it cost her less than a day in London.
Sarah Loughman works tirelessly as a nurse, only going away for a spot of sunshine once or twice a year with the family.
But after doing some savvy research, the 40-year-old and husband, Craig, 38, have been able to whisk themselves off on a day trip to Ibiza – costing just £170 each.

And it’s a stark difference from their usual £150 cabin holidays with their four kids.
“[We got] straight in a taxi and went to a few different bars for shots and cocktails,” Sarah, from Northampton, told Luxury Travel Daily.
“It was really nice to have some relaxing time together.
“This was our first time back to Ibiza since our honeymoon 17 years ago.
“While much was still very familiar, there had been lots of changes, too.
“And this was our first time abroad without the children.”
Sarah and Craig flew with easyJet, costing £60 each, spent £30 on taxis to and from the airport, £120 on alcohol, £30 on breakfast and £40 on two sun loungers.
They arrived at 11:30pm, went out partying, and then watched the sunrise, before using the pool all day until their flight home shortly after midnight.
While they were delayed for 90 minutes on their return home, it’s something they would “100% do again”.
Though, next time, they would take a little bit more cash.
She added: “I would definitely take plenty more money for drinking, as it’s very expensive there.
“The cost of drinks was surprising and no real offers like there used to be.
“I’d been monitoring the flight prices for a few days before booking, which I’d do again.
“Other than a small delay, there were no real complications.
“I will definitely be looking at where else we can go next.
“Especially as this costs the same price as a day trip to London.”
