Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Norwegian Aqua, has launched its inaugural Caribbean cruise season from Port Canaveral, Florida, offering seven-day Eastern Caribbean voyages through August 2025.

The 3,571-guest vessel will call at popular destinations including Puerto Plata, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Great Stirrup Cay – NCL’s private Bahamian island, which is set to unveil new family-friendly amenities later this year.

A highlight of the Norwegian Aqua is the Aqua Slidecoaster – the world’s first hybrid waterslide and roller coaster – which has become a viral sensation.

The Norwegian Aqua is the first of the Prima Plus Class, offering 10% more space and staffing than its predecessors. Guests can unwind at an expanded pool deck, the adults-only Vibe Beach Club, or Mandara Spa’s thermal suite, which includes clay, ice, and steam rooms.

Following its Florida season, the ship will sail from New York to Bermuda before returning to Miami for Eastern Caribbean routes from October 2025 to April 2026.
