The Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA) has launched a new app to enhance the travel experience for visitors and beach-goers. The EXP Miami Beach Tours App, available on Apple and Google platforms, expands on the Experience Miami Beach App, offering curated itineraries and visual guides to help travelers explore the city’s diverse attractions.
“While our shoreline is world-famous, Miami Beach is home to a variety of experiences, landmarks, and installations that represent the history of our city and its global influence. The EXP Miami Beach Tours App takes our visitors on a journey beyond the beach to discover the diversity of our destination,” said Peggy Benua, Chairwoman of the MBVCA. She added that the app features itineraries crafted by local experts to cater to different travel styles and interests, allowing visitors to plan their trips with ease.

The app highlights Miami Beach’s iconic landmarks and activities, including the Art Deco District, public art collections, Michelin-recognized restaurants, LGBTQ+ landmarks, and historic architecture. It aims to make travel planning easier and more efficient, enabling visitors to identify preferred sites and experiences before arrival.
Complementing the app, a new video series will be released weekly on the Experience Miami Beach Instagram handle, showcasing the city’s rooftops, restaurants, pools, art installations, and hidden gems. This initiative is part of MBVCA’s strategy to leverage user-friendly technology for enhancing visitor experiences.
Grisette Marcos, Executive Director of the MBVCA, noted the growing popularity of the app as travelers make plans for the remainder of the summer season. “We continue to see an increase in EXP Miami Beach Tours App downloads, validating the demand from visitors to source recommendations from local experts and resources,” she said. Marcos also highlighted that local and national travel influencers have used the app to discover unique experiences and destinations in Miami Beach.
