The National Medal of Honor Museum will mark its grand opening on Saturday with a major public celebration in Arlington, Texas, featuring 32 Medal of Honor Recipients, military performances, and a spectacular fireworks and drone show.
The Mission to Inspire Spectacular, complete with music and 360-degree storytelling, follows a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by national and military leaders, celebrities, and corporate partners.

Opening to the public on March 25—National Medal of Honor Day—the Museum has been designated an Event of National Significance by the Department of Defense. Military units including the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, “The Old Guard,” and the Marine Chamber Orchestra will perform.
Notable guests include NBC’s Savannah Guthrie, actor Gary Sinise, musician Lee Greenwood, and Dallas Cowboys players, alongside executives from corporate sponsors like American Airlines, Lockheed Martin, and JPMorgan. A live recording of Toby Keith’s “American Soldier” will also be featured.
The 100,000-square-foot Museum is unlike any other, focusing not on war, but on the values and stories behind America’s highest military honor. Visitors will encounter immersive exhibits, including a restored UH-1 “Huey” helicopter and virtual interviews with Medal recipients. The building’s elevated deck, supported by columns representing each military branch, houses 31,000 square feet of exhibits.
Led by Museum CEO Chris Cassidy, a former Navy SEAL and astronaut, and Board Chair Charlotte Jones of the Dallas Cowboys, the Museum is also home to the National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute, which promotes Medal values through national education and leadership programs.
Tickets are now available at mohmuseum.org, where the Grand Opening will also be livestreamed for remote viewers.
