Mountain Lake Lodge will host SAVOR: Chefs, Farmers & Friends from June 13–15, 2025, a new culinary event spotlighting Southwest Virginia’s food scene.
The weekend will bring together the region’s top chefs, farmers, brewers, and artisans to celebrate Appalachian traditions, sustainability, and local flavors in a scenic Blue Ridge setting.
This first-time collaboration with Root to Table and Virginia Tourism transforms the resort into a farm-to-table showcase, led by Executive Chef Wells Selbe.

Guests can expect interactive workshops, tastings, live entertainment, and a multi-course dinner by celebrated regional chefs.
Highlights include a Farmers & Flavor Marketplace, chef demos, craft cocktails, and an open-air artisan breakfast. The all-inclusive SAVOR package features a two-night stay, daily gourmet meals, culinary experiences, and exclusive event access.
Located outside Blacksburg on a 2,600-acre preserve, Mountain Lake Lodge—known as the filming site of Dirty Dancing—offers hiking, backcountry tours, fly fishing, and more.
