“Reaching 1,000 hotels solidifies Mercure’s position as a leader in the midscale segment,” said Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President at Accor. He emphasized that the brand’s strength lies in its ability to “place-make” each destination, balancing local authenticity with global quality.

Mercure’s journey began in 1973 with the goal of unveiling the unique treasures of each destination.

Now present in 68 countries, the brand continues to enhance its portfolio with properties like Mercure Dubai Deira, set to host a celebratory event this fall, and Mercure London Earls Court, a dual-branded property inspired by London’s cultural heritage.
