A Brit living in Benidorm has urged tourists to do one thing while visiting the beach – and it’ll help you avoid a costly fine.

Harry Poulton, 24, regularly shares his travel tips and advice about the popular tourist destination with his 32,000 TikTok followers (@harrytokky ).

In a recent clip, which has racked up 22,000 views and hundreds likes, he urges Brits to do one thing while on the beach.

And says it’ll stop you from being fined £129, reports Luxury Travel Daily.

The content creator, from Brighton, says: “This information is very important for anyone coming out to Benidorm.

“If you want to use the beach, do these things and you won’t end up with a fine.”

He shows a sign post, which states that sun loungers and umbrellas must be paid for, costing £5 each.

Harry continues: “If you get caught not paying for the little sun loungers and the umbrellas, they could technically fine you up to [£129] for not paying.”

He notes that from March, and throughout summer, the ticket inspectors who issue the fines are “on it” as it gets busier in Benidorm.

“Make sure you don’t get caught red-handed on a sun lounger and get slapped with a fine, because that would not be nice,” Harry says.

“Don’t want to ruin your holiday over not paying.”
