A woman who flew to Ibiza for a 24-hour party, says her flights cost her less than a train from London to Manchester.
Jasmine Stemp, from Brighton, jetted off to the party island for a gig with her friend, Paige, for just £60.
The 25-year-old was desperate to see the house music supergroup, Swedish House Mafia, after being a fan since she was a child.
But instead of splashing out on accommodation, the pair went for just one day.
Sharing her whirlwind trip on TikTok (@jazzyfizz33), she described how she made the most of her 24 hours in the sun.
“I found out Swedish House Mafia were doing a five-week residency at Ushuaïa [a popular Ibiza club] when I wasn’t out there [and] I was gutted,” Jasmine told Luxury Travel Daily.
“So I decided to come back [to Ibiza] with my friend to see them, but after just doing a holiday out there I couldn’t afford another full trip.
“So we decided to do it in a day.
“We flew from Gatwick Airport at 8am and arrived in Ibiza around 11.30am.
“Then our flight home was at 9.25am from Ibiza and got us back to Gatwick at 11am.
“So, technically, the whole trip was around 30 hours with our travel time to and from the airport.”
The pair spent approximately £60 on flights, £92 for the gig and £46 for club tickets to a nightlife experience known as Hï Ibiza.
They also budgeted £150 for spending money.
And the spontaneous trip did not disappoint.
Jasmine said: “I’ve never seen them before and it’s always been my absolute dream.
“They were the best set I’ve seen in my entire life and I had goosebumps the entire time.”
The pair even managed to enjoy Ibiza’s glorious beaches before the gig.
Jasmine said: “When we arrived in Ibiza we got a taxi straight to the beach near Ushuaïa and took our duty-free vodka we brought at the airport.
“[We] sat on the beach pre-drinking and we had some lunch in a beach bar.”
In a stroke of genius, the duo also bought some souvenir T-shirts to disguise their clubbing outfits on their flight home.
Jasmine said: “We dropped our bags off at a ‘drop and go’ which is a locker-type place near Ushuaïa, where you can pay €10 (£8) for them to hold your bag for 12 hours.
“We then stayed in Hi until close at 6am before getting bags and jumping straight into a taxi to the airport.
“At the airport, we put our ‘I Heart Ibiza’ tops over our clubbing outfits and went to get on our flight, still wearing our cowboy boots.”
After completing her extreme trip and catching up on sleep, Jasmine says that it was “the best experience of her life” and “definitely doable” for anyone who can party all night long.
She said: “I actually didn’t feel as tired as I thought I was going to be.
“I had a little nap when I got home and then pretty much went about my day as I would on any normal hangover day.”
Jasmine shared some tips for anyone looking to experience Ibiza in one night.
She said: “It’s a marathon, not a sprint so don’t take it too far too early in terms of drinking or you’ll struggle the rest of the night.
“Bring an absolute minimum amount of stuff because you’re not going to need anything you think you’ll need.
“Charge your phone when you can – if you go for lunch ask the restaurant to charge it.”
“The reaction from everyone has just been that they think we’re crazy and I’ve had a lot of people say they couldn’t handle it, but it really is worth it.
“Absolutely just go for it and do it, you’re only young once!”
