Freedom Plaza, the ambitious civic and cultural project from Soloviev Group, has released a new video and updated renderings showcasing its 4.7-acre green space—part of a transformative 6.3-acre development between 38th and 41st Street east of First Avenue.
Designed by the award-winning OJB Landscape Architecture, the park promises lush landscaping, an 18,000-square-foot central lawn, a 700-foot East River Promenade, 1.2 miles of accessible pathways, and intimate garden spaces.

Features include a 7,000-square-foot children’s play area, a 6,000-square-foot water garden, food kiosks, and an amphitheater adjacent to a museum dedicated to democracy.
Freedom Plaza also includes two affordable residential towers, retail and dining spaces, daycare, and two hotels by Mohegan and Banyan Tree Group, with the option for modern gaming. Soloviev Group will finance and maintain the park long-term, guided by a community steering committee.
Set to redefine urban public space, Freedom Plaza blends nature, culture, and community in the heart of Manhattan.
