This week, 19 wish children from across the U.S. experienced a magical, multi-day Star Wars-themed event at Disneyland Resort, “Blaze Your Path:
A Star Wars Adventure.” Organized in collaboration with Make-A-Wish and other wish organizations, the event fulfilled Star Wars-themed wishes, offering immersive activities like droid building, scavenger hunts to assemble lightsabers, surprise character visits, and a private dinner in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

The experience kicked off with an interactive breakfast where children chose between the light and dark sides, followed by a day full of Star Wars-inspired adventures. Ahead of the event, families received Star Wars-themed accessories and gifts from Disney Consumer Products, adding an extra touch of magic.
“Blaze Your Path: A Star Wars Adventure” is a testament to Disney’s ongoing commitment to granting wishes for children facing critical illnesses. Josh D’Amaro, Disney Experiences chairman, expressed pride in continuing the tradition of making dreams come true through innovative experiences.
Leslie Motter, CEO of Make-A-Wish America, highlighted the event’s transformative impact on families, offering them a reprieve from their medical challenges.
As part of their Disney wish, families are also enjoying extended stays at Disneyland Resort, including visits to the theme parks and a stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish for nearly 45 years, granting more than 155,000 wishes globally, making them the largest wish granter in the world.
