With less than a month to go, Disney has revealed an extensive lineup for the highly anticipated D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, presented by Visa®, set to take place at the Anaheim Convention Center. The sold-out event promises to be the biggest and best yet, featuring over 230 panels and presentations, immersive show floor offerings, and unique Talent Central interactions.
Michael Vargo, head of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, expressed his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled for fans of all ages to join us in Anaheim next month for what will truly be the ultimate Disney fan experience. This year, D23 has been reimagined to showcase even more of what they love from across the worlds of Disney. Event Highlights:
- Panels and Presentations: Over 55 panels and presentations will take place across five stages, featuring behind-the-scenes access, rarely seen treasures, and highly anticipated reunions. Highlights include D23 Mousequerade: The Ultimate Disney Costume Contest, Disney Princess – The Concert, Disney Character Voices: Inside the Studio, and more.
- Show Floor Activations: The largest show floor in the event’s history will include immersive pavilions from Disney Experiences, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Disney+, Hulu, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, National Geographic, and more. New additions include a full pavilion for Avatar, a presence from ESPN and ABC News, and Lucasfilm’s ILM StageCraft™ technology.
- Special Events: For the first time, D23 will extend beyond the Anaheim Convention Center, featuring the first-ever D23 Day at Disneyland Resort on August 8, evening showcases at the Honda Center on August 9-11, and D23 Day at Angel Stadium on August 4. A company-wide sweepstakes, D23: The Ultimate Disney Sweepstakes – FANtastic Prizes, offers exclusive prizes and experiences.
- Programming Reservation Details: The Reservation Random Selection Process (RSP) for event stages, Talent Central, and most show floor experiences will open on July 15 and run through July 19. Reservations can be made at ultimatefanevent.reservations.d23.com.
