Capella Bangkok has claimed the top spot in The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 list, announced at an awards ceremony in London.
Overlooking the Chao Phraya River, the luxurious hotel, known for its serene design and personalized service, climbed from No.11 to No.1 this year, securing the title of Best Hotel in Asia as well.

Opened in 2020, Capella Bangkok combines the grandeur of a luxury property with the intimacy of a boutique hotel, featuring lush gardens, riverside villas, and world-class amenities.
Asia dominated the list with 19 hotels featured, including Passalacqua in Lake Como at No.2, which also received the Carlo Alberto Best Boutique Hotel Award, and Rosewood Hong Kong at No.3.
The event also introduced new awards, including the Ferrari Trento Most Admired Hotel Group Award, won by Aman, and the Lavazza Highest New Entry Award, which went to Raffles London at The OWO.
Other notable winners include Soneva Fushi in the Maldives, named Best Beach Hotel for the second year, and Maroma in Mexico, which took home the Flor de Caña Eco Hotel Award.
