Luxury hospitality brand Banyan Tree is introducing Connections, a new private wellbeing programme for two that blends mindfulness, movement, and shared rituals.
Launching in May 2025, the immersive experience will be available as an add-on to room bookings at four Banyan Tree resorts: Vabbinfaru in the Maldives, Phuket in Thailand, Mayakoba in Mexico, and Anji in China.
Marking the first phase of Banyan Tree Spa & Wellbeing’s enhanced offerings, Connections is designed to foster intimacy and inner harmony through curated activities grounded in the Banyan Group’s 8 Pillars of Wellbeing.

The programme includes private yoga, sound meditation, healing treatments, cultural workshops, and nature experiences, tailored to each location’s unique landscape and heritage.
Highlights include a sunset cruise and cooking class in the Maldives, a spa ritual and kayak tour in Thailand, a Temazcal purification and recycled paper workshop in Mexico, and a mountain hike paired with tea-infused wellness in China.
“In a world where time together is increasingly fragmented, genuine connection is becoming rare,” said Paul Hawco, Executive Director, Integrated Wellbeing, Banyan Group. “Connections offers shared renewal in awe-inspiring settings.”
Available as a supplementary booking, Banyan Tree Connections invites couples, friends, and families to rediscover the power of togetherness through immersive wellbeing travel.
