The deal also supports Saudi Arabia’s aviation ambitions, aligned with its Vision 2030 goal of becoming a global aviation hub capable of serving 330 million passengers annually. The single-aisle jets are expected to help meet rising travel demand while boosting sustainability.
Boeing’s Brad McMullen called the 737 MAX a “powerful combination” for AviLease, praising its efficiency and versatility. The model remains a mainstay in the leasing market, accounting for roughly 30% of all financed aircraft worldwide.
