Atlantis Paradise Island unveils a $150M renovation, featuring updated guestrooms at The Royal, a redesigned casino, and Paranza, a new restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Michael White.

Atlantis Paradise Island, the renowned resort destination in the Bahamas, has completed a $150 million transformation encompassing updates to its casino, guestrooms, restaurants, and lounges. The resort introduced revamped guestrooms at The Royal towers, a redesigned Atlantis Casino, and Paranza, a new restaurant at The Cove by Michelin-starred chef Michael White.

Redefined Guest Experience

The Royal at Atlantis, featuring 1,201 rooms, has undergone a comprehensive redesign, spearheaded by Tony Tompkins, Atlantis’ Senior Vice President of Design. The new décor draws inspiration from the serene beaches of the Bahamas, featuring ocean-inspired carpets, sculptural pieces reflective of the Bahamian archipelago, and calming shades of blue and white. The suites at The Royal now feature deeper, richer colors, adding an elegant touch to the guest experience.

Casino Transformation

The Atlantis Casino, home to Dale Chihuly’s iconic glass sculptures, has been reimagined with updated lighting and design to enhance the immersive experience. The redesign includes new custom carpets, restored murals, and an open ceiling for a more spacious feel. The newly introduced Bar Sol offers a stylish atmosphere with a restored Chihuly chandelier and nightly live music.

Culinary Excellence at Paranza

Paranza, the latest dining venue at The Cove, features an interior designed by Jeffrey Beers International and Tony Tompkins, reflecting the Bahamian and Italian coastlines. Chef Michael White offers an approachable fine dining experience, with a menu that complements the restaurant’s warm and elegant ambiance.

New Amenities and Enhancements

Additional enhancements across the resort include Bar Sol, Cleito’s private gaming, Silan, Perch, and the Caribbean’s first Shake Shack. Upcoming attractions include FIELDTRIP, Cartier, Thistle, Christian Louboutin, and the Paradise Links mini-golf course.

Audrey Oswell, President and Managing Director of Atlantis, emphasized the resort’s commitment to providing an unparalleled vacation experience, highlighting the blend of upgraded amenities and the resort’s signature design elements.
