ArtPrize 2025 brings 16 days of art and creativity to Grand Rapids from September 18 to October 4 with global artists, live events, markets, performances, and $600,000 in prizes.

Grand Rapids is preparing to welcome ArtPrize 2025 from September 18 to October 4, bringing 16 days of immersive art, performances, community events, and $600,000 in prizes and grants.

The city will once again become a global stage for creativity, showcasing artists and designers from around the world.

Highlights include Arborialis, a large-scale, multisensory forest installation in the heart of downtown, an Opening Celebration with live music and fireworks on September 19, and the Merchants and Makers Market each Saturday.

The ArtPrize HalfTime Show on September 26 promises a festival atmosphere with live performances, while the Awards Ceremony on October 3 will honor the top works at Studio Park.

Artist registration is open through May 30, with funding opportunities including Featured Public Project grants, Venue Exhibition grants, Artist Seed grants, and local initiatives like the Motu Viget and HBA Pekich Park grants. Full details are available at artprize.org.
