Alaska Airlines has partnered with Expedia Group to introduce Stays by Alaska Vacations, a new platform offering exclusive deals on over 900,000 hotels and vacation rentals worldwide. Launched today, the service allows travelers to earn and redeem miles through Alaska’s Mileage Plan loyalty program while booking accommodations.
Mileage Plan members can now earn one mile per dollar spent on Stays by Alaska Vacations bookings. Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® cardholders benefit even more, earning an additional three miles per dollar on eligible pre-paid stays. The platform also offers the convenience of redeeming miles for hotel rooms or vacation homes, with cardholders enjoying preferred redemption rates.

Courtney Lansing, managing director of business development and products at Alaska Airlines, emphasized the partnership’s value in enhancing the travel experience by combining Expedia’s extensive inventory with Alaska’s loyalty rewards. Stephen Cheng, vice president of strategic partnerships at Expedia Group, highlighted the platform’s ability to offer great value and seamless integration into the travel planning process.
Stays by Alaska Vacations builds on Alaska Airlines’ earlier initiative, Packages by Alaska Vacations, which launched this year and offers discounts on bundled airfare, hotel rates, car rentals, and activities.
