Alaska Airlines is enhancing its winter travel options with 18 new nonstop routes to both sunny international destinations and winter wonderland retreats. Starting the evening of July 10, tickets for these exciting new routes will be available on alaskaair.com.

“We’re thrilled to offer convenient connections for guests across our network with this expansion – whether checking destinations off their bucket lists or setting off to their favorite winter getaways. We’ve put together an exciting range of options from tropical destinations across Mexico to the most popular ski slopes in North America,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of network planning and revenue management at Alaska Airlines.

New Routes to Premier Ski Destinations

This winter, Alaska Airlines will introduce its first-ever service to Vail, Colorado from San Diego and Seattle, catering to ski enthusiasts. Additionally, there will be nonstop service from Los Angeles to Kelowna, offering access to central British Columbia’s popular ski resorts, and from San Diego to Reno for easy access to Lake Tahoe ski resorts.

Expanding Access to Adventure and Exploration

For those who love adventure, new winter-seasonal service between Boise and Bozeman will provide a gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Year-round service between Boise and Santa Ana will also be introduced, offering proximity to California’s favorite theme parks. Furthermore, new routes from Boise and Sacramento to Orlando will offer an escape to Florida’s warmer weather and amusement parks.

Sun-Soaked Destinations for Winter Getaways

Alaska Airlines is reaffirming its position as the largest U.S. carrier between the West Coast and Latin America with new nonstop service to Liberia, Costa Rica from San Francisco and Seattle. This expands their offerings to 104 nonstop routes out of Seattle. Additional new services include daily flights from Fresno to Guadalajara, five weekly nonstop flights from Sacramento to Los Cabos, and new routes connecting New York state to Puerto Vallarta.

Recently, Alaska Airlines announced it would become the only U.S. airline to offer services to La Paz, Mexico, and direct flights between Monterrey, Mexico, and Los Angeles.
