Adventures by Disney is expanding its European river cruise offerings in 2026 with a brand-new itinerary through southern France’s Rhône River Valley.
This eight-day, seven-night journey aboard the AmaKristina, operated by AmaWaterways, will take guests from Lyon to Provence, offering a seamless way to explore five stunning destinations while only unpacking once.

Led by Disney-trained Adventure Guides, travelers will immerse themselves in France’s rich history, vibrant culture, and world-renowned cuisine. Activities include:
- Active sightseeing: Bike through charming towns, kayak under the historic Pont du Gard, and ride a steam-powered train through the Doux Gorges.
- Culinary experiences: Sample cheeses, chocolates, olive oils, and Rhône Valley wines, including tastings from the famous Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards.
- Art and creativity: Walk in Van Gogh’s footsteps at St. Paul de Mausole, explore the Ochre Trail in Roussillon, and learn the ancient craft of silk weaving in Lyon.
- Historical tours: Discover Roman ruins in Lyon and Nîmes, medieval towns like Viviers and Tournon, and the hilltop village of Les Baux-de-Provence.
