Abu Dhabi is set to unveil the world’s largest drone light show, integrating cutting-edge technology with immersive storytelling.
Under a strategic partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Nova Sky Stories, and Emirati tech firm Analog, the initiative will feature a fleet of 10,000 light-show drones, transforming the city’s skyline into a dynamic canvas.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, witnessed the signing of the agreement, which aims to blend cultural heritage with advanced drone technology to create large-scale artistic narratives across the emirate’s iconic landmarks.
DCT Abu Dhabi Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak emphasized the project’s role in elevating Abu Dhabi’s position as a leader in entertainment innovation, while Kimbal Musk, CEO of Nova Sky Stories, highlighted its potential to redefine storytelling in the sky.
Analog’s Alex Kipman described the initiative as a fusion of tradition and next-generation technology, bringing holographic stories to life.
Powered by real-time synchronisation and adaptive intelligence, the drone performances will push the boundaries of live entertainment, creating an evolving spectacle that honours Abu Dhabi’s heritage while setting new global standards for immersive experiences.
