A constellation of global celebrities gathered under the night sky of the Saadiyat Cultural District for the exclusive VIP unveiling of teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi, the emirate’s newest cultural beacon.

The evening opened with a spellbinding live performance by acclaimed Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi.

His evocative melodies set the stage for a spectacle of 6,000 synchronised drones and a cascade of pyrotechnics, illuminating the skyline in a celebration that reflected the vibrancy and innovation within.
Hollywood icons Cate Blanchett, Brendan Fraser, Andrew Garfield, and Natalia Dyer joined Marvel and DC stars Pom Klementieff and Grant Gustin, along with music producer Flying Lotus, Swizz Beatz, and spiritual leader Sadhguru, to commemorate the occasion.

Situated among cultural heavyweights such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, teamLab Phenomena deepens the Saadiyat Cultural District’s stature as a world-class cultural hub. Developed in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the launch reinforces the city’s commitment to cultural innovation. “Our goal is to unite the ecosystem around a shared vision of Abu Dhabi’s potential, delivering experiences rooted in authenticity and creative exploration,” the department said.
teamLab, the international art collective behind the project, is known for transcending boundaries between art, science, and the natural world. With works held in leading museums globally, their new home in Abu Dhabi promises to challenge perceptions and ignite imagination.
