Departing from Whittier, Alaska, and Vancouver, Canada, the land packages promise scenic rail journeys, wildlife encounters, and authentic cultural experiences. All Cruisetours come with hotel stays, transfers, guides, select meals, and admission fees—providing a seamless extension to guests’ Alaska itineraries.

“At Azamara, we believe the most memorable journeys are the ones that offer a genuine connection to a place and its people,” said Mike Pawlus, head of itinerary planning. “Our new Cruisetours are designed to bring Alaska’s beauty, culture, and wildlife to life in fresh and immersive ways.”

Highlights include a luxurious stay at the Alyeska Resort with access to a Nordic Spa and a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, and a four-night Denali expedition combining rail and riverboat travel with cultural visits to the Alaska Native Heritage Center and Gold Daughters gold panning site.

Another standout experience is the “Welcome to Denali” event, where guests meet local naturalists at the Denali Discovery Center, enjoying wine, cheese, and a deeper look into the region’s natural wonders.

Guests departing from Vancouver can opt for shorter urban escapes, like the “City Views & Mountain Vistas” tour of Vancouver, or venture into nature with a Whistler bear-viewing adventure.

More immersive options include five- and six-night Canadian Rockies journeys aboard the Rocky Mountaineer and through Banff, Lake Louise, and Kamloops—offering sweeping views and unique local experiences like wine tasting.

Adding to the onboard experience, every Alaska cruise will feature a complimentary AzAmazing Evening event. For 2026, guests will enjoy the famous Lumberjack Show—a lively, high-energy showcase of Alaskan heritage, strength, and storytelling.

With these new Cruisetours, Azamara continues to build on its reputation for offering immersive, destination-focused travel. By combining small-ship intimacy with expansive overland exploration, the cruise line opens new possibilities for discovering Alaska’s breathtaking landscapes and cultural richness.
