Currently operating from Terminal 7, Kuwait Airways has served the New York market for over 40 years with flights to Kuwait aboard Boeing 777-300 and Airbus A330-800 aircraft.

The move to T6 will offer passengers a modern, digital-first experience featuring expedited security, NYC-inspired shopping and dining, premium lounges, and sustainable design elements.

“We are thrilled that Kuwait Airways has selected T6 for its future New York operations,” said Steve Thody, CEO of JFK Millennium Partners. “We look forward to welcoming Kuwait’s passengers to our world-class facilities.”

Part of JFK’s $19 billion transformation, T6 will open in phases, with the first six gates operational in 2026 and full completion by 2028. The terminal will feature 10 gates, state-of-the-art security, a new ground transportation center, and LEED-certified sustainability initiatives.
