Designed by architect Cuneyt Bukulmez, the resort integrates natural materials like timber and stone, with an emphasis on sustainability. In partnership with INVENA and MIT’s Self-Assembly Lab, JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll is pioneering an underwater coastal structure to combat beach erosion and support marine biodiversity.
Guests can indulge in seven distinct dining venues, including Athiri, a signature steakhouse, and Riva, which elevates Indian Ocean flavors. The resort also features the overwater Spa by JW, offering exclusive treatments with BABOR skincare, as well as yoga, fitness facilities, and ocean excursions ranging from snorkeling to dolphin safaris.
For families, the resort’s Family by JW program includes a Kids’ and Teens’ Club, interactive cooking classes, and outdoor activities. The Three-Bedroom Ocean Residence, designed for families and groups, offers panoramic ocean views and luxurious amenities.
“JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island is designed as a true sanctuary where guests can disconnect, recharge, and experience the magic of the Maldives,” said General Manager Srikanth Devarapalli.
