The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism has announced the official dates for the 73rd annual St. Thomas Carnival, running from April 27 to May 3, 2025. This vibrant celebration will showcase the best of Virgin Islands culture with dazzling parades, live music, food, and traditional festivities.
Signature events include the Queen and Princess Pageants, Calypso Monarch competition, Pan-O-Rama, and an electrifying J’ouvert experience. The festival culminates in a grand parade through Charlotte Amalie, where thousands of masqueraders in colorful costumes dance along the 2-mile route.

“St. Thomas Carnival continues to grow in size and notoriety,” said Joseph Boschulte, U.S. Virgin Islands Commissioner of Tourism. “We look forward to welcoming visitors from around the world to experience our rich culture and beautiful island.”
Revelers can enjoy free nightly concerts at Carnival Village, featuring top local and international artists, as well as the St. Thomas Carnival Boat Races, a Food Fair, and artisan markets.
