Twickenham House, a cherished wedding and event venue in Western North Carolina, is reopening after overcoming the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene. Thanks to the tireless efforts of local heroes, volunteers, and the community, this iconic estate is ready to host magical events once more.
Special gratitude is extended to Lance Byrd, David Wayne, Chad Cox, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, emergency workers, and Samaritan’s Purse for their vital roles in restoring access and rebuilding infrastructure.
Nestled at 4,600 feet atop 420 acres of pristine woodland, Twickenham House offers breathtaking views of the North Fork of the New River and surrounding mountain ranges.
Its 14,000-square-foot English Manor-style estate features 14 luxurious bedrooms and a stunning inlaid stone terrace perched on a 300-foot cliff, perfect for unforgettable ceremonies and gatherings.
