With tickets sold out a week ahead of the launch, Crystal Lagoons has just inaugurated Lagoon Park Bucharest.

Part of the larger Central District Lagoon City megaproject, the complex also includes a 5-star Radisson hotel with 323 rooms, 400 luxury rental apartments, class A office space, and numerous retail and entertainment facilities. This ambitious development reflects Crystal Lagoons’ vision of bringing a slice of the ocean to urban settings, enhancing the quality of life in Bucharest and turning the area into a major leisure destination.

Jean Pierre Juanchich, Global Business Director of Crystal Lagoons, highlighted the innovative urban impact of PAL® projects, likening them to the creation of the first urban parks in London 200 years ago. These projects, known for their sustainable technology, significantly reduce the carbon footprint by cutting the need for travel to coastal areas, allowing people to enjoy beach life closer to home.

Crystal Lagoons, a US-based company with over 2,900 patents in 180 countries, is recognized for its sustainable amenities that require minimal chemical use and energy. Their technology, verified by Bureau Veritas, ensures that their lagoons use significantly less water than traditional recreational spaces, contributing to environmental conservation.

The Lagoon Park Bucharest launch marks another milestone for Crystal Lagoons, which currently has over 1,000 projects in various stages of development across 60 countries.
