A pair of influencers were left shocked after forking out more on food and drinks at a popular beach club than their flights to get there.
Federica and Giuseppe, better known as My Trip to Naples on social media, (@ilmioviaggioanapoli), initially thought something must have been “wrong” with their bill.
The pair, who are from Italy, were visiting the Cala Bassa Beach Club, located on Sant Josep beach in Ibiza, reports Luxury Travel Daily.

In total, they spent €400 on the day trip; including €40 for sun loungers, €160 for a bottle of champagne and then another €200 on food.
Posting to TikTok, racking up 723,000 views and over 10,000 likes, they reveal the costly items in question – including a large seafood paella and Iberian ham – both of which are known for their eye-watering price tags.
At the end of the video, though, they appear to look shocked after reviewing the pricey bill.
Giuseppe says: “Something is wrong here, because I paid more to be here for a few hours, than on the flight to visit the island.”
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.
“Exaggerated prices everywhere, travelling now is a luxury,” Luca said.
Laura added: “Thanks now I know where NOT to go.”
“I live in Ibiza. All the beaches are free,” Vin commented.
One user added: “400€ in May a day at the beach,” followed by three cry laughing emojis.
“The same place ten years ago cost no more than 50 euros,” Alex said.
