Cunard celebrates record-breaking bookings after the debut of Queen Anne, with over 50,000 attending the naming ceremony and exceptional demand for Europe itineraries.

Cunard has reported record-breaking bookings following the eagerly awaited debut of its new ship, Queen Anne. The 3,000-guest vessel embarked on its historic maiden voyage on May 3, returning to Southampton on May 24 for the celebratory British Isles Festival voyage, which featured a grand naming ceremony in Liverpool.

The luxury cruise brand revealed that May saw the highest number of bookings for any equivalent period in its history, with Queen Anne’s Europe itineraries proving exceptionally popular among guests.

According to Culture Liverpool, over 50,000 people attended Queen Anne’s naming ceremony, with thousands more lining the banks of the River Mersey to witness the event. Additionally, Cunard generated over 21 million impressions across social media platforms on the day of the ceremony.
